More pictures of the Fairwinds Easter Egg Hunt

Waiting with Grandpa for the festivities to begin.

Mommy and Jaxon getting ready to head out the lobby for all the fun!

The beginning of the people.

Jaxon was very intrigued by the Easter Bunny when he met him for the first time inside.

Then when we tried to get some photos outside, Jaxon didn't cry, but he would only look down, I guess he didn't want to look at the Easter Bunny, or even ackowledge that he was holding him.

Jaxon's First Easter Egg Hunt

Loving the first egg he found!

Hey - there's some eggs!

Enjoying the beautiful weather - he was in such a great mood all morning, it was a perfect first Easter Egg Hunt!

Snuggling a little with Great Grandma after finding eggs.

Jaxon didn't really want to look at the camera, he was too interested in his basket and his eggs. And Jason had a migraine - which he was trying to grin through :-)

Every year we have an Easter Egg Hunt at our work for all of the kids. It's a great time and we usually have about 75 kids or so. This was the first year and that we actually got to participate and Jaxon had a great time. The weather was absolutely perfect! He LOVES watching and listening to people, so with all these people around, he was in heaven. The residents really loved seeing him too! We did get a few pictures with the Easter Bunny too. It was a great morning - and now he is taking a nice long nap as he is totally worn out from all the fun!!

Jaxon Loves Sweet Potatoes

Just a few photos from his first try at sweet potatoes - he definitely loves eating them!

6 Month Check up Stats

We went to the doctor this afternoon for Jaxon's 6 month check up. Here are his stats -
16 pounds 10 ounces (25th percentile)
27 inches long (70th percentile)

He also had his shots - which are never fun, but he's really a tough guy and only cried for about 5 seconds, just so we could know that it hurt! We also got the ok from the doctor for some finger foods - food in his teething mesh bag and some bread and crackers - what fun this will be!

A little bit of everything

A little bit of everything describes what we have been doing lately :-) Jaxon is changing so much all the time! He now stays at home with a nanny while we are at work - which has been awesome (oh, and he stills stay home with Grandma on Mondays, which he always looks forward to!!) Work has been going well and keeping us busy - everyone there loves Jaxon's visits and we get asked each day how our little man is doing and "how big is he now?" He just lights up the faces of all our residents when he comes in and grins at them! We will be going there tomorrow for his first Easter Egg Hunt - we are so excited. So, here are some random pictures from the last few weeks.

HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!!

Getting him to sit still there was quite a challenge.

Playjng with all his toys, we are expecting him to crawl any day now. He gets on all fours and starts rocking back and forth - then usually tumbles over and rolls onto his back.

Sporting his new shades from Aunt Heidi. They look a little like swim goggles - but he really does like wearing them!

Playing guitar with Daddy. - So sweet.

Happy Birthday Grandpa! Happy 6 Months Jaxon!

Jaxon turned 6 months old yesterday - WOW!! We can't believe how fast time has gone by! Yesterday was also Grandpa Greg's birthday. Here are a few shots of them together.

New food - PEAS!!!

I get such a kick out of these photos of Jaxon trying to new foods - he is just not quite sure what to think! One bite, he likes them, the next bite - not so much :-)

Last Saturday we started peas - and here was the result!

First bite, not so bad.

What is this?? This doesn't taste like rice cereal or carrots!

Are you sure about this? (Notice his two bottom teeth is this picture - they popped through about two weeks ago)

I don't think I like this!

Ok - are we done now?
