It's so fun to experience the holidays with kids! It's like being a kid all over again. So, it was so exciting to have the Easter Bunny visit our house this year. Though, he didn't have to try hard to hide the eggs (four eggs hidden right in the middle of the living room floor) he did leave a special basket with eggs, banana baby food, and a dancing/singing Donald Duck dressed as the Easter Bunny - which Jaxon thinks is hilarious and Bubba is not too sure about :-)

More pictures of the Fairwinds Easter Egg Hunt
Jaxon's First Easter Egg Hunt
Enjoying the beautiful weather - he was in such a great mood all morning, it was a perfect first Easter Egg Hunt!
Snuggling a little with Great Grandma after finding eggs.
Every year we have an Easter Egg Hunt at our work for all of the kids. It's a great time and we usually have about 75 kids or so. This was the first year and that we actually got to participate and Jaxon had a great time. The weather was absolutely perfect! He LOVES watching and listening to people, so with all these people around, he was in heaven. The residents really loved seeing him too! We did get a few pictures with the Easter Bunny too. It was a great morning - and now he is taking a nice long nap as he is totally worn out from all the fun!!

6 Month Check up Stats
We went to the doctor this afternoon for Jaxon's 6 month check up. Here are his stats -
16 pounds 10 ounces (25th percentile)
27 inches long (70th percentile)
He also had his shots - which are never fun, but he's really a tough guy and only cried for about 5 seconds, just so we could know that it hurt! We also got the ok from the doctor for some finger foods - food in his teething mesh bag and some bread and crackers - what fun this will be!

A little bit of everything
A little bit of everything describes what we have been doing lately :-) Jaxon is changing so much all the time! He now stays at home with a nanny while we are at work - which has been awesome (oh, and he stills stay home with Grandma on Mondays, which he always looks forward to!!) Work has been going well and keeping us busy - everyone there loves Jaxon's visits and we get asked each day how our little man is doing and "how big is he now?" He just lights up the faces of all our residents when he comes in and grins at them! We will be going there tomorrow for his first Easter Egg Hunt - we are so excited. So, here are some random pictures from the last few weeks.
