Adorable
Although he can have his "terrible twos" moments at times, this little boy is so adorable. He is kind, he is smart, he is gentle and he is absolutely hilarious!!! I guess we should have figured with his parents he would have these qualities - LOL! He just keeps getting more and more fun each day and we are thoroughly amazed at his little brain and the things he comes up with!
JAXON UPDATE - SPRING 2012
*He can spell his first and last name
*He can count to 19 or 20 (depends on the day)
*You give him a letter and he can tell you a word or name that starts with that letter (he has known his alphabet and recognized all letters since he was 20 months)
*He can tell you his mommy's phone number
*He can tell you where his mom and dad work.
*My favorite word right now that he says is "Aurora Borealis" - sounds sooooo cute!
*His favorite cartoon is by far "Little Einsteins" - he absolutely LOVES it. He has a dance that he does to the theme song and sits enthralled through the entire episode.
*He keeps asking for a baby sister. Many of his friends at school have them and almost each night he says "Please can you put a baby in you belly?"

Growing up so fast!
Our little boy is growing up so fast. It seems like just yesterday we brought him home from the hospital and now look at him :-) We think this little picture just after he woke up - looks like a teenager, messy hair, pajama pants, head phones t-shirt - a little preview of Jaxon + 10 more years !!

Christmas Morning!
We work up early (of course, Jaxon is always up by 6:30 AM) and opened presents and stockings. Then Jaxon went downstairs and woke up Uncle Jesse to open more presents. Then my dad and sister, and Jason's mom and grandma came over to open EVEN MORE presents and have breakfast. A lovely morning.....such a switch from last year where Jaxon got a little bored with presents, this year he could have gone on all day, he LOVED opening presents.

Jaxon opening his new tool bench from Grandpa John (notice "Christmas Story" playing in the background, that's a family tradition, have to have that playing all morning long!)
Jaxon posing in his stocking from Aunt Heidi and Grandpa John - definitely fills it up much more than the two years past.
Jason, GGMA (as Jaxon calls her) and Jesse.
Jason (sleeping on the floor), Jesse (sleeping on the couch) and me (sleeping in the chair) all relaxing while Jaxon took his nap!
Enjoying a breakfast FEAST together!

Let the Festivities Begin - Christmas 2011
Let the festivities begin - we, like many families I'm sure, pack as much as humanly possible into the holidays. We typically start with Christmas Eve Morning and celebrating with Jason's dad, then Christmas Eve night we head out to Deer Park to celebrate with the Thompson's, then go to midnight Mass with Jason's Dad at Gonzaga, Christmas morning at our house with Jason's mom, brother, grandma, my dad and sister, then finish up the evening by going out to Loon Lake to celebrate with the Schuler's. Wow - lots of family in a short of amount of time, but we love it. And Jaxon loves seeing everyone. Here are a few photos from the first "party" of the two days, Christmas Eve Morning with the Korbs.

North Wall Christmas Program
As I have mentioned before, Jaxon goes to North Wall Schools on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. He enjoys his time at "school." This year their Christmas program was held at Rogers High School in their auditorium. It was very cute to see each class come on stage and sing their songs. This is Jaxon's toddler class. He is the last one one the right side. Very cute!!

Each year we take a trip downtown to see all of the Christmas displays, lights and of course to visit Santa. It so fun with Jaxon getting older, he is starting to understand everything that we are doing and why. I also enjoy the fact that he isn't afraid of anything, he didn't mind sitting on Santa's lap and is always up for any kind of adventure - such a FUN little boy!

Christmas Outing
We took Jaxon to the Manito Park Conservatory where they have everything beautifully decorated with thousands of Christmas lights. It was gorgeous!
Christmas Tree Hunting 2011
The weekend after Thanksgiving we headed up to Greenbluff to Dietz Tree farm where we go each year to find the perfect tree. It was a little strange this year, since there was no snow and it really wasn't all that cold. We actually found our tree within the first 5 minutes, but we walked around for a while just to make sure! Here are a few photos from our adventure that day.

"How about this one for my room?"
