We went to Greenbluff for Jaxon's first trip to the pumpkin patch a few weekends ago with our friends the Kaufmans. Jaxon was a little young, but it was still fun to take him on his first hay ride! And the weather was goegeous...

Visitors!!

We were excited to get a chance to see our cousins last week who were up visiting from California. Naomi (who is the daughter of Holli's cousin Brianne) is only 3 weeks older than Jaxon, they are the closest cousins in age for sure! It was very fun to see them. Naomi's sister Kiara is 3 and she kept us laughing the whole time. Here are some photos from their visit.

1 Month Old!!

A month has passed already - wow. Jaxon is doing great... sometimes letting his mommy and daddy sleep at night, sometimes not. Our big adventures this week were that Jaxon went out to dinner for the first time (to Clinkerdaggers with our boss who is moving...and he did awesome - barely made a sound) to Deer Park for another football game, to the Whitworth campus for some picture taking for Uncle Jesse's senior pictures then out to lunch (mexican food - and again he did soooo well, slept through the whole thing! Good thing, because his mommy and daddy like to go out to eat a lot.) and an exciting trip to Walmart. Wow - all that in one week - we must be getting a little more functional, because the first three weeks we barely went anywhere! Maybe this month we'll actually make it out to see some friends...we'll see.

Three Weeks Old

We can't believe Jaxon is already over 3 weeks old!! He is definitely getting bigger - making more faces and noises - and it seems like we're starting to get somewhat of a sleep schedule down. Here are a few 3 week old pictures :-)

Thank you Grandma!

Grandma was on vacation last week, so Jaxon got to spend lots of time getting to know her. It was a great break for mommy to get to take naps, do laundry, and take a shower each day in between feedings. Thanks again Grandma!

Why did this have to happen to me today??

Jaxon had his circumcision last Monday. Everything went fine at the office, however when we got home and I went to change his diaper - there was LOTS of blood, he turned pale, and I couldn't get him to wake up...so to make a long story short...I called 911 and we spent the evening in Sacred Heart ER :-( The bleeding stopped and he is fine now. He was pretty exhausted the next day after his trip to the hospital, all the poking and proding, and his follow-up appointments (so were mom & dad!!) We are sooooo glad that he is healing great now and feeling so much better!
